PLEASE HELP ME HELP MY MOM!

I recently graduated from college and would have never thought my summer would have taken a turn for the worst. Due to family circumstances, my mom and I decided to part ways with a family member. The relationship wasn’t healthy and we just couldn’t move with them. This left us on the brink of being homeless. On an act of desperation, I asked my best friend and her family if they could take us in for 2 ½ months (Sept. - mid-Nov.). They have been a huge blessing to us and I am eternally grateful. They lent us their only spare bedroom until we can save up for an affordable apartment. Unfortunately, they have family members flying in to stay with them on October 25th. This has cut our time significantly short. We have been trying to save the money we need for a security deposit and 1st month’s rent but we’re still far behind. My mom and I both work for minimum wage at a coffee shop at the airport. This was my first job while in college but I recently had to go back so I can help my mom.

I don’t know what else to do. I’ve set strict budgets for us to follow but it’s just not enough. There are weekly expenses we must cover (groceries, laundry, public transportation, etc.) My mom has wanted to give up on everything but I’ve talked her into believing we can do it. I reminded her that we must keep our faith in God because there WILL be a MIRACLE for us. I love my mom with all my heart. She and God are the only reasons why I haven’t given up yet. She is a strong Christian woman who has sacrificed for her three children 100 times over. Honestly, asking the world for assistance is the hardest thing for me to do. But, for a mom who has sacrificed more than she could give and still does, I can sacrifice my pride and ask for help.
