Run For Rabbi David

Run for the Rabbi

Rabbi David came into our lives only a few months ago when he performed my daughter’s baby naming in our home.  Rabbi was so wonderful from the first moment that I spoke with him on the phone. Even though we had to accommodate a number of situations, Rabbi David put all of the pieces together and made it work for our family. Rabbi David and I have known each other for only a short time, yet I feel like I've known him for years. He is one of the kindest, most caring, and generous people I know.

Fast Forward Three months...

My training for the Broad Street Run was VERY challenging at first. It was so hard to get back into running for the first time in over three years.  Rabbi David's fight against Lymphoma moved and motivated me.   He is inspirational: He wants to run the NYC  marathon in the fall when his treatments are over. This is unbelievable!  Each run that I do, I think about him and it pushes me a little further!

When I asked him if it is okay to start a “Go Fund Me” page and give him all the donations to help with medical bills, his first response was no. He said to give it Sedaka , the synagogue, or to “The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society”.

Rabbi David, we are all fighting for you!! All donations will be given to “The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society".
