For many young women, prom is a pivotal coming-of-age ritual. However, attending prom is becoming more and more cost prohibitive for many girls - from high prom ticket prices, to all the other expenses that come along. Many girls are left frustrated and unable to attend prom.
The Fairy Godmother Initiative is a charitable organization that is dedicated to giving high school senior and junior girls a FREE Dress, shoes and accessories for Prom.
This year, we will be hosting our 9th Annual Prom Dress Boutique Event. Events will take place in Connecticut and New York.
Although the beautiful dresses we provide are donated by our generous followers, there are several expenses that we must cover on a yearly basis including: dress storage, dress cleaning, transportation, advertising, office supplies and food and beverages for our event.
Every year we get many emails from individuals who want to help but who are unable to physically participate. Now, you can help us by making a small donation and sharing our cause with your friends and family.
Funds will be used to purchase PLUS Size Dresses and accessories that will be offered during our events to girls in need.
