<div>We were lucky to escape out of the inferno - alive, as we were sleeping at the time – it’s only a miracle that none of us were hurt, but this fire destroyed our house and its stability – destroying everything in it that we ever treasured and built for our future together.

<div>Our elder child is in VCE and our younger one is in primary school - both studying in the local school. We have been peaceful and loving members of the community, living here without any extended family, this is a struggle they have been enduring physically and mentally since the incident.

<div>We are paying a price for the mistake of an irresponsible person, who unfortunately for us happened to be our neighbor.
