<div>Hi, my name is Carla Granda and I’m organizing this fundraiser for Robin Soto, a close family friend from Lima, Peru. Robin is battling Stage 4 colon cancer and needs urgent help with surgery, chemotherapy, and medical expenses. Every donation helps him and his family through this difficult time.

<div>Robin Soto, a 54-year-old hardworking taxi driver from Lima, Peru, has always dedicated his life to providing for his family and caring for his 92-year-old mother, whom he lives with. He is also a proud father of two teenage children who love him deeply.

<div>Recently, Robin’s life changed dramatically when doctors diagnosed him with Stage 4 Colon Cancer. After months of stomach pain, weight loss, and fatigue, tests and biopsies confirmed a malignant tumor in his colon that has now advanced.

<div>Robin will first undergo major surgery to remove the tumor. This procedure will require a blood transfusion and the use of ostomy (fecal waste) bags. Once he recovers, he will begin chemotherapy to help control the spread of the disease.

<div>Although his insurance covers a small portion of his medical needs, most of the expenses — including medications, lab work, transfusions, hospital costs, and medical supplies — must be paid out of pocket. To date, the family has already spent approximately 5,000 soles (about $1,300 USD).

<div>Robin has been forced to stop working due to his condition, and caring for his elderly mother has added to the emotional and financial strain.

<div>Hace poco, la vida de Robin cambió por completo cuando los médicos le diagnosticaron cáncer de colon en etapa 4. Después de varios meses con dolor abdominal, pérdida de peso y malestares, los exámenes y biopsias confirmaron la presencia de un tumor maligno avanzado en el colon.

<div>Robin deberá someterse primero a una cirugía mayor para extirpar el tumor. Esta operación requerirá una transfusión de sangre y el uso de bolsas de ostomía (bolsas de desecho fecal). Después de su recuperación, iniciará tratamiento de quimioterapia para intentar detener la propagación del cáncer.
