Fewer cats in the woods!

My mom lives in the woods.

Well, if you're looking to get technical, she lives in a house in the middle of the woods.
Anyway, one of the things that tragically tends to happen is that animals are left behind by people who can't or don't want to keep them.

My mom does her best to care for them, but as nature is want to do they reproduce regularly. With  all of the frequent loss, I know her heart breaks.  She'll talk about animals she grew attached to long after she doesn't seem them anymore.  I know if she didn't have a very territorial cat, she would try to take them in.  She names them. She feeds them at least twice, daily. They come and go but her dedicate to them always remains.

While there will be issues that arise in the future, for now I'd like to do something to help.

She's looked into subsidized trap neuter release programs, but the waiting list is long.

She isn't aware that I'm doing this, but I would love to be able to get them fixed, and maybe provide them with other medical care while they are being neutered.

If there was any money leftover, or if there wasn't enough for a surgery, the money it would go towards their food/care.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. I know I can't be the solution to the problem by myself, and it makes a difference knowing you were even interested.
