Fernando Villalva Memorial Fund

         Fernando Villalba a son, husband and father passed away on Friday November 3rd of 2017. Fernando who was a loving, kind, humble, and very happy individual left this world, but his spirit and soul remains in the heart of all of those who loved and cared for him. Karol Acosta, his wife, and Brianna Villalva , his daughter, are going through a difficult and unbearable path right now. Fernando was the head of the household, always caring for the wellness of his family and looking after his most precious treasure, which was his amazing daughter and wife. Now that he is not among us anymore I feel obligated for the love I have towards my family to keep doing what he has been doing his whole life, which was to look after his family and to try and accomplish a dream he started.


          Today we ask for your support towards the Villalva family going through this devastating time, any help is welcomed and appreciated. My initial goal for this fund was to help Fernando’s health while he was at the hospital, however he passed away and now the goal is to support his family in any way possible.  Today or tonight we ask that you pray in the loving memory of Fernando, who was an average guy doing his job as a carpenter and look after his family and make the American Dream come true for his family and the ones he loved. Two days ago, he ended his journey in an accident at work at 10:00am on Nov 2nd; he fell of a ladder two stories high. He was airlifted straight to the hospital, in which he went straight to surgery. The doctor took out his spleen which was shattered and repaired what they could because he was had severe internal bleeding. Fernando went into cardiac arrest during surgery and left us for a few minutes, he, however, came back and fell into a coma. The doctors could not finish until they could stop the bleeding. He went through a lot of blood transfusions and medicine. The doctors only gave him a few hours to live. Fernando surpassed that and went beyond and started opening his eyes and squeezing our hands. Fernando made it through the whole night surrounded by many family and friends. In the morning we saw him start to get weak and by 8AM he could not breath and passed away. He fought for his life until his last breath. He was an amazing warrior and did not give up so easy his life and God knows he took with him a real soldier. We just thank god for giving us a chance to see, speak and and hold him for one last time and say goodbye. Fernando was a fighter, the bravest person I knew. He leaves his loving wife and daughter; Karol and Brianna with pain we can’t even imagine. Fernando was a loving, strong, caring, one of a kind and special man with a huge heart and smile. He was a great husband and an amazing father.

Fernando Villalba, hijo, esposo y padre, falleció el viernes 3 de noviembre del 2017. Fernando, que era una persona amorosa, amable, humilde y muy feliz, dejó este mundo, pero su espíritu y su alma permanecen en el corazón de todos los que lo amamos. Karol Acosta, su esposa y Brianna Villalva, su hija, están atravesando un camino muy difícil en este momento. Fernando era la cabeza de su hogar, siempre cuidaba el bienestar de su familia y cuidaba de su tesoro más preciado, que era su hermosa hija y esposa. Ahora que ya no está entre nosotros, me siento obligado por el amor que tengo hacia mi familia para seguir haciendo lo que él ha estado haciendo toda su vida, que era cuidar de su familia y tratar de hacer realidad el sueño que él comenzó.


Hoy le pedimos de su apoyo para la familia Villalva que atraviesa este tiempo devastador, cualquier ayuda es bienvenida y apreciada. Mi objetivo inicial para este fondo fue ayudar a la salud de Fernando mientras estuvo en el hospital, sin embargo falleció y ahora la meta es apoyar a su familia de cualquier manera posible. Hoy o esta noche te pedimos que ores en la memoria de Fernando, que era un hombre haciendo su trabajo como carpintero, papá y esposo. Cuidaba de su hogar y deseaba realizar el sueño americano por su familia y por los que amaba. Hace dos días, terminó su viaje en un accidente en su trabajo a las 10:00 am el 2 de noviembre; cayó de una escalera de dos pisos de altura. Fue trasladado en helicóptero directamente al hospital, en el que fue directamente a cirugía. El médico le extrajo el bazo, que se rompió y reparó todo lo que pudo, sufría una hemorragia interna grave. Fernando sufrió un paro cardíaco durante la cirugía y nos dejó por unos minutos; sin embargo, regresó y cayó en coma. Los doctores no pudieron terminar la cirugía hasta que terminara el sangrado. Pasó por muchas transfusiones de sangre y medicamentos. Los doctores solo le dieron unas horas de vida. Fernando supero eso y fue más allá y comenzó a abrir sus ojos y apretarnos las manos. Fernando pasó toda la noche rodeado de muchos familiares y amigos. Por la mañana lo vimos empezar a debilitarse y para las 8 AM ya no podía respirar y falleció. Fernando lucho por su vida hasta su último suspiro. Era un gran guerrero y no dio su vida por vencido tan fácilmente y Dios sabe que se llevó con él un guerrero extraordinario. Simplemente le agradecemos a Dios por darnos la oportunidad de ver, hablar y sostenerlo por última vez y despedirnos. Fernando era un luchador, la persona más valiente que conocí. Él deja a su amada esposa e hija; Karol y Brianna con dolor que ni siquiera podemos imaginar. Fernando era un hombre amoroso, fuerte, cariñoso, único y especial con un gran corazón y sonrisa. Él fue un gran esposo y un padre increíble.

Esta ayuda es para su querida esposa e hija para ayudarlos en este momento tan difícil mientras obtienen un poco de estabilidad. Cualquier donación sería muy apreciada y le agradecemos su apoyo.
