On behalf of the Rho Chapter of Hermandad de Sigma Iota Alpha, Inc., We would like to keep in our minds and in our hearts the father of our sister, Yarmine Fernandez. Victor Fernandez had been hospitalized after visiting the Dominican Republic and developing a brain infection, which then worsened. He recently passed away on May 31, 2013. Burial will take place in the Dominican Republic. We are asking family, friends, and sisters to please help our sister's family in this time of dire need. We are all a family. Hermanas, her loss is our loss. Thank you very much and we wish you all a safe and blessed summer.
