<div>C'est le cœur lourd que Sébastien et Eva ont appris la fermeture définitive du camping d'Arolla, situé dans le Val d'Hérens, dans le canton du Valais, qu'ils exploitent depuis trois ans. Cette décision est tombée en début de saison estivale, les laissant dans un embarras total et, avant tout, dévastés par cette nouvelle. Ce camping est unique : un petit coin de paradis dont ils sont tombés amoureux. C'est pour cette raison qu'ils ont décidé d’acheter le terrain début 2024.

<div>Malheureusement, les intempéries survenues en Valais en juin 2024 ont remis en perspective les dangers naturels présents sur le site. Selon les autorités, le terrain est désormais inexploitable, quelles que soient les mesures constructives ou les plans d'urgence envisagés.

<div>Aujourd'hui, ils n'ont pas de terrain alternatif et se voient dans l'obligation d'interdire l'accès aux campeurs et d'annuler leurs vacances. C'est une perte massive pour le village d'Arolla et la région, mais particulièrement pour Seb et Eva, qui ont investi beaucoup d'argent et d'énergie dans ce projet de vie. Motivés à bloc, les étoiles plein les yeux, c'est un rêve qui part en fumée. Malheureusement, aucun dédommagement financier ne semble envisageable, ni de la part des assurances (pas de sinistre = pas de dédommagement), ni de celle du canton (c'est leur devoir de protéger la population).
