Support (Late) Ferhan Imam’s Children’s Education

It was Saturday Aug 1st when Ferhan started feeling sick. He thought it was a normal flu but never thought that it could be much worse than that because he was otherwise healthy with no underlying medical issues. He visited his family doctor the next day and started taking prescribed medication. He continued his daily activities with precautions and followed all SOPs to protect himself from potential COVID-19 virus. Three days passed but his condition did not improve, and he still had difficulty breathing. On the night of Aug 5th, he went to bed early but late at night, his wife noticed that he struggled with breathing. She called the ambulance and shifted him to the hospital. He was put on the ventilator right away while doctors performed several tests. Later, a shocking news came that no one wanted to hear, he was diagnosed with COVID-19. He remained on the ventilator for the next 20 days. Ferhan, who won several educational and professional competitions, couldn’t defeat COVID and passed away on Aug 26th, 2020 at the age of 47. Someone so special can never be forgotten, may his soul rest in peace.
Ferhan was a devoted husband, loving son and father of 3 young kids. He introduced great values to them and provided quality education and opportunities for extracurricular activities. Anyone who knew Ferhan, can confidently say that he lived to nurture the happiness of his family and in turn his family truly gratified his life's content. He was well known in textile industry and served Lucky Textile Mills for more than 18 years in various capacities and most recently as the General Manager Marketing.
With all the emotional pain and stress that a death brings, it also brings financial burdens as he was the sole income earner for the family. His father, who is an advanced stage Alzheimer patient was also dependent on his income which requires huge medical expense on a regular basis. In loving memory for Ferhan, we have setup a fund to collect $25,000 to support his family at this stressful time. The amount collected through this fund will be invested to generate a stable and respectable source of income to help his family meet their living expenses and support his young kids receive the best education that Ferhan had always desired for them.
