Feranmi Havard Summer School

Hello. My name is Oluwaferanmi Jedidiah Owoniyi and I am a student in my sophomore year, at Dr John Horn High School, Mesquite Texas. Migrating from Nigeria has always motivated me to use any opportunity given to me in order to be successful because America itself is a land of opportunities. I am currently enrolled in Advance Placement Chemistry and Geometry with a 3.6 grade point average. Keeping determination, focus, consistency and hard work as my watchword. I applied and got accepted into Harvard University Summer School, for a 7-week high school summer session.  This Summer School will help broaden my horizon in chemistry, which is a core subject for my future career as a doctor. However, due to my inability to get a huge sum of $12700 for the tuition and flight expenses, my attendance to this program is not certain. Under the guidance of my parents, family friends, and school staff, they suggested that I try to raise the funds through one of the online Fundraising sites. I really would like the opportunity to attend the summer session and I would be glad of any donation can be given for the progress of getting the tuition fee and flight expenses.
