Hello I am Yanina and I've created this Funding page to help preserve the history of Fenny Stratford's gem.

The Fenny Poppers.

The firing of the Fenny Poppers, each and every11th November is a unique tradition that dates back to the early 1700's and honours the memory of the grandfather of the Browne Willis who built this Church.

But it costs, the purchase of gunpowder, safety checks and maintenance and the necessity of occasional re-casting is all necessary part of helping and firing the Poppers help us to keep us to keep alive this wonderful historic and eccentric part of our local heritage.
