Fence Posts for Cobargo

Donation protected

A family from Crossroads Christian Church and Emmaus Christian School (the O'Meara's) are trying to help fellow farming families in their hometown of Cobargo that have been impacted by these devastating bushfires. Things that are desperately needed in Cobargo at the moment are new fence posts and fencing wire. This will allow farmers to start replacing hundreds of kilometres of ruined fencing and to secure surviving livestock.

If you are able to help out this devastated community by donating, please do so below.  All money raised will go directly to suppling these materials to Cobargo farming families.

The organisers of this campaign are Cathy Prior and Jonathan de Puit, both residents of Canberra, ACT.

Both Cathy and Jonathan are friends with Craig O'Meara, a former dairy farmer from Cobargo NSW, who had the idea to raise funds to buy fence posts and wire for farmers affected by the recent bushfires.

All fund raised through this campaign will be transferred (via a beneficiary account managed by Jonathan de Puit) to a specific 'Cobargo bushfire relief' account set up with Southern Farm Supplies (SFS) in Bega. Steve and Andrew Ireland from SFS, along with Craig O'Meara, are coordinating the distribution of all fence posts and fencing wire to Cobargo farmers in need.
