Period Products at Senior High School

My name is Lily Wilson.

I am doing a project at my school, Billings Senior High (Billings, Montana), to provide girls with free, easy-access, period products. Currently at our school, girls must go to the attendance office and ask for a product, both a time consuming and embarrassing task.  In the words of New York City Councillor Julissa Ferrares-Copeland, "A young girl should not have to tell her teacher, to then tell her counsellor, to then be sent to the nurse's office, to then be given a pad to then go back to the bathroom while a boy is already taking his exam in his classroom".

To keep girls from having to endure this inequitable situation, I am seeking to install no-cost period product dispensers in all of the girls' bathrooms. In order to accomplish this, I need your donations! 

Numerous girls are forced to miss school due to lack of access to period products, keeping them from reaching their full potential, in education and everyday life.  In donating, you will be helping to provide girls with an equal education and more opportunities.
