FemFest is an event that raises money for the women’s shelter via Winston-Salem Family Services, Inc.
8 bands that are female fronted/supported or dominated from all over the country perform to showcase music as an outlet for woman going through abuse.
100% of the proceeds go directly to the upkeep of the shelter and services provided to woman and children who have been victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.
This year will be the 5th year and has outgrown smaller venues so I’m working on holding the event at Ramkat.
Every dollar donated will go directly to holding production cost and anything more will be donated to the shelter.
