<div>As many in the queer community will be aware, gender affirming care has become increasingly difficult to access for Trans and Non-binary folks in the past few years, with the average waiting list time for top surgery on the NHS at a disgraceful 10 years. Felix has been on that waiting list for nearly 2 years and the prospect of not being able to feel at home in his body for another 8 years is unimaginable for him. Not to mention the fact that binding your chest for years is dangerous and is impacting Felix's scoliosis, making it tricky to for him to bind safely anymore.

<div>He therefore has to save up to go private for top surgery, which would cost in the region of £10,000. Felix is looking to do it locally due to work commitments and wanting to recover in the comfort of his own home. The sum includes the initial consultation (approx. £350), the surgery itself and additional living costs (someone to provide recovery care, rent, food, bills where needed) etc. However, given the cost of living crisis, setting aside that hefty chunk of money would be nigh-on impossible without some support (every little helps).
