Felix's Emergency Vet Expenses

Last Monday Felix starting puking non-stop and ended up at his vet office for a stay.  After home, it continued and he kept declining and ended up in the veterinary ER where I learned that he needed surgery to remove a foreign body lodged in his intestine. It was a massive hairball, of all things.  This should have been the end of this emergency but is still hospitalized due to fever and unfavorable labs, which indicate kidney distress and possible disease.  The expenses as of now have reached the maximum estimate of $6,000.  This is on top of the expenses from his usual vet.
It is not easy for me to reach out and ask for help, but the expenses have become far more than I can afford, but I could not say goodbye to him.  Every dollar earned will be one less needed, and hopefully keep me from financial disaster.
