Hi everyone.

As you know, my pets are my children. My world revolves around them, and animals in general.

Felix is everything to me. This last year he was diagnosed with several illnesses -- Hypertropic Cardiomyopthy, Small Cell Lymphoma GI cancer, and is now currently in the ICU battling an Acute Kindey Injury.

We are unsure the cause, but suspected infection due to a weakened immune system from his chemotherapy.

Even considering all of these diagnosis -- he has been doing great. He has a great quality of life, and we could have so much more time together.

Due to his heart disease he is being monitored closely in the ICU at MedVet Worthington, by his Internal Medicine Doctor and his Oncologist.

His prognosis is optimistic and fair; his doctors are hopeful if we can recover from this he will continue to live a long happy life.

His current kidney values are going up and down, and she thinks he needs more time with them in the ICU. He needs IV fluids and antibiotics. He needs time to heal. Clinically he is doing well. Alert, eating, peeing/bowel movements, vitals are all great.

I work very hard for everything I have, and anyone who knows me know I would never ask for anything unless it was a last resort.

We are only 4 - 5 days in the ICU and are already reaching totals of $5,000 - $6,000.

On top of the general care, and cancer treatments. And if it matters to you -- His cancer prognosis is good, and this type of cancer can respond well to treatment, even going into remission for 2+ years.

I don't know how many more days we may need in the ICU, but my funds are running low.

Anything helps. And I feel defeated for asking.

The tears have not stopped flowing.
