Support Animal needs support - feline diabetes

Ella Spitzgerald is my little girl - she has diabetes and on Christmas day I had to rush her to the urgent care because she had not been able to keep anything down for 2 days. Ella was admitted to a 24 hr Animal Hospital to be hydrated and to be observed. She was found to have a UTI which cause her body to basically start shutting down. Ella is home and doing very well - she is on several medications and will go to see an internist on January5 so we can address everything and move forward. I am not sure what the future brings but I do know when a fur-baby has done SO much fir you - you have to do all you can for them. The Drs seem very optimistic as to her future. All of this has cost over 4K so far - and I have already been blessed with help with half of that so I am working on dealing with the other half.
