Romanian Orphanage Mission Trip
Donation protected
On May 8-17 of 2019, my touring choir and I from Waynesburg University are flying over seas to Romania for a mission trip. We are going to a village called Caminul Felix in Oradea, Romania. In Caminul Felix, there are two villages that take children in that are in need of families. Men and women take in normally around 12-15 kids at a time and raise them as their own. When they reach the age of 18, the mothers and fathers who raise them help them find jobs. They will find jobs in or around the villages and build their own houses and take in kids of their own. We are not going to Caminul Felix to give them money and do what we want. We are going to help serve them in any way they need us. They will be telling us how to help them, and we are going to do everything we can to help change the lives of these kids and parents. Not only will we help change their lives for the better, but they will change ours for the best. The reason why I am raising money is because I cannot afford the plane ticket on my own. I am trying my best to raise money by fundraising, but I am not sure it will be enough. I need to raise approximately $800.00 by April 22, 2019. Down below is a link to a video about the villages. I recommend that everyone interested in this fund, should watch the video. I thank every single one of you who are open to help me raise money. I will be sure to post pictures and videos of this amazing trip when the time comes!
