<div>In the 10 years I’ve been fighting multiple autoimmune and hematologic diseases I’ve never felt to ask for help in this way. I never want to take from my family, friends, and community, but I am in a scary place right now. Because of the major complications with my last surgery I will be needing to take time off to recover both physically and mentally, start physical therapy, and still continue the treatments I receive every month to keep my AS from progressing.

<div><strong>In May of 2025 I was diagnosed with an extremely rare Glomus Tumor that is located inside my right ear extending down into my skull and brain. These tumors are very rare- with only 4 sub types of this particular tumor ever documented. RUSH in Chicago is in charge of my care which insists of Neurosurgery, Skull Base Surgery, Oncology, ENT, and more. I have two surgeries scheduled to try and remove the tumor in full for for 5/19 and 5/20 with a lengthy recovery and radiation treatment to follow. Unfortunately insurance is not approving payment for either surgery, with their approval for radiation unknown at this time. The hospital is helping with some financials, but not all of them leaving me with thousand of dollars worth in the form of a large copay as well as what is left after the hospital pays it’s portion. This hospital stay will be traumatic both physically and mentally. Now the financial strain, it adds a whole new level of stress. Any and all donations go towards these growing medical bills, travel expenses into the city, lodging, and more. Every single donation counts. </strong>
