Feel The Bern--The Musical
Over the past several months, I have been working feverishly on a MUSICAL about Bernie's wondrous, unprecedented movement. It is written and composed, and a venue has been rented--in Burlington, Vermont-- Incidentally, the same stage from which Bernie launched Our Revolution in August(!)
It will be a one-off on stage, which will be filmed and put on Youtube for all to enjoy.
Everybody involved is doing it as a labor of love. Time, heart, effort, and $$ are being poured into this endeavor as we speak by its loving participants.
We are not charging admission at the door, but any donations will help make this a success, by covering the expense of:
--Renting the theater and its sound system
--Renting rehearsal space
--Paying for the actors' bus-fare
--Paying our T-shirt designer and printer
--Renting props
--Printing programs
--And hopefully paying the wonderful crew a little something for their hard work.
--In the spirit of the BERN, any additional penny will go to the Indigenous Environmental Project, currently struggling to protect Standing Rock from the Dakota Access Pipeline.
PLEASE help us pay tribute to Bernie through Song, Dance, and Yumor! Let's make this YUGE!
Our suggested donation is, naturally, $27, but even $1 is more helpful than you know and we are so grateful.
