As the partial government shutdown continues, 18,570 federal workers in our 11 county service area aren’t receiving a paycheck — a paycheck that they need to support themselves and their families. And without this paycheck, they may not be able to make ends meet and as time goes on, the need will continue to grow. We are hopeful that this will all end soon but in the meantime…

What do families in southwestern PA do next?

Not knowing where to go or what to do can be scary and we hope that we can be there for all our neighbors at this time. 

In order to serve the additional needs of families who haven’t previously received assistance from the food bank or our partners, we are looking to YOU to help fund distributions to support federal families.
