Feed My Sheep

Tax deductible
God's Kitchen of Michigan and CALTRAN, both 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporations, are appealing to the public for donations. The funds will be used to continue feeding homeless and other needy citizens living in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

As a consequence of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), Governor Gretchen Whitmer issued Executive Order 2020-5 thus closing our soup kitchen. Like so many other charities, this order has had a profound financial impact on our efforts to fulfill Jesus Christ's edict to "Feed My Sheep," (see John 21:17).

Although funds are not allocated to purchase and serve free dinners to our dinner guests at this time or pay employee salaries, we are still faced with paying other expenses such as rent, utilities, Insurance, etc. We need your help.

Starting on Good Friday, April 10, Pastor William Stein, the Chairman of God's Kitchen of Michigan, will begin fasting until we are able to raise enough funds to keep our charities afloat.

Please donate any amount of $5, $10, $25, $50 or more to help us emerge from this pandemic, and resume our efforts to serve free dinners to needy children, families, the homeless, disabled and veterans in our community.
