UPDATE: We are raising any additional funds exclusively for cyclone Yasa relief for families affected by the category 5 cyclone that passed over Vanua Levu, Fiji on December 17th, 2020. All prior donations for food boxes were distributed.
DONATE $30 USD TO GIFT ONE BOX OF FOOD TO FEED ONE FIJIAN FAMILY.
For all of us who have visited Fiji, we know that it's the incredible spirit of the Fijian people that makes these islands the most magical in the world. Savusavu and the islands of Fiji are heavily reliant upon tourism to support their livelihoods. The COVID-19 pandemic has had profound impacts globally. With borders closed, and businesses shuttered, many people are unemployed leaving people with the inability to provide food for their families.
We are friends of the Koro Sun Resort staff and their families along with the people from surrounding villages of Waivunia and Nagigi. We are raising money to go specifically to sourcing bulk foods to prepare and distribute to the neighboring villages and staff in need. All of the money we raise will go to the Koro Sun Staff Fund and used 100% for the purposes of supplying food to the surrounding community. We will be posting updates to show how your funds have been used to help feed the Fijian people you know and love :-). VINAKA!!
