Feed Thy Neighbor, Inc.

Tony Mansolillo realized that so many were in need due to COVID-19s devastating the economy. There were many families struggling to provide basic food needs for their families due to being out of work and unemployment's exceedingly long wait time for any benefits. Waiters, waitresses, retail store employees, thousands were left suffering and trying to figure out where their next meal was coming from. Tony saw the Facebook comments and NextDoor comments from people desperate and needing help and decided he was going to do something about it. In Tony's own words, "you're either a slug who doesn't do it or you do it" and that determined his current path to feed those in need. Tony's mission is "nobody should go to bed hungry especially children" deriving from his motto of "God don't make no junk". Tony's only interest is to provide a nice homemade healthy cooked meal for anyone that needs one, just needs a break from being locked inside their homes or is in some way incapable of cooking for themselves. He currently serves over 150 meals daily Monday through Friday. Everything is made with the caring and wonderful help of our volunteers from right here in our community. Tony's selfless act has now grown so much bigger than first imagined and he has decided to become a non-profit 501C3 by the name of Feed Thy Neighbor, Inc. which is quite appropriate for what he's doing on a daily basis. Channel 7 news and WINK news have both covered his story and  continue to follow his mission in making sure everyone that needs a meal gets one. Please help in any way possible to help us continue our mission and feed those in need. There are still so many we aren't reaching and would like to be able to provide for them too. Tony is currently coming out of pocket for all the costs and really could use help until our non-profit status is completed. If you have it in your heart to see what's going on in our and your own community with those out of work, unemployment still not up to speed and benefits dwindling to those who really need it please help us continue to help those we serve. Remember that "it takes a village" and now it's our turn to BE THAT VILLAGE!!!
