Feed the Hood - Turkey Drive

I am linking up with The Hood Santa (Tito "T-Nut" Rodriguez) to raise funds to sponsor Thanksgiving meals for under priveledged families who lack the financial means to have & enjoy a Thanksgiving dinner with their families. We are targeting low income urban communities like Long Beach, Compton, Watts, Bell Gardens, and surrounding areas. Our goals are:
- Sponsor 500 families so they enjoy a nice Thanksgiving dinner.
- With your help, raise enough funds to buy 500 13lb. turkeys (1 per family), and necessary side dishes (mac & cheese, vegatables, stuffing, etc.)
- distribute these 500 Turkeys (& sides) to 500 families at a central location
- Generally, raise awareness of our cause so that it grows and more families are fed each year.
