I was inspired by Whitney Whitis, MD- who began collecting donations for her nursing staff, and frontliners at Bethesda North.  It is essential that we take care of the only people equipped to takecare of us, during these unprecedented times.  

I am organizing a campaign for my teams at area hospitals, who will be working day and night, for you and your families. 

My initial goal is to provide meals for the units, including night shifts, and the Emergency Departments. Expanding beyond that, I am asking for donations from local businesses; Kroger, proctor and gamble, restaurants etc. 

As the COVID-19 situation develops locally, I would like to expand these resources to securing housing for the asymptomatic providers that have been exposed, and chose to continue working-but do not want to run the risks of co-infecting their families. 

I would like to invite anyone that is interested in helping, but is not sure where to start; to donate.
