As Ramadan 2025 draws near, my heart turns once again to the youth community in Africa this year in Sangalkam, Senegal who face hunger daily—a cause I’ve been committed to for years now. Ramadan is a sacred month that stirs the soul with its call to generosity and compassion—a time when we’re reminded to open our hearts and hands to those less fortunate .Following the efforts of the past two Ramadans, I’m launching another GoFundMe with my sister in Islam Zana Diallo to ensure these little ones have nourishing meals to break their fasts and feel the warmth of our care. It’s been a humbling journey, and we’d be so grateful if you’d join us once more this year or for the first time—in this labor of love. Together, we can fill their plates and their spirits with hope.

This GoFundMe is dedicated to helping the little kids (attends the Islamic Schools) with their basic needs during this special time of year. The funds will go directly towards:

• Food for nourishing meals

• Hygiene essentials to maintain health and cleanliness

• Eid clothes to help celebrate this joyous occasion
