My school is in a location that is second in the NATION for food insecurity. That means most of my students only eat at school. They never know if they will eat at home, hence the term " insecurity ".
If you are concerned about public education and want to do something tangible that will directly affect a child's concentration perhaps you could donate to our food pantry? I teach 700 amazing kids who are stewards of our future.
These loving and hardworking children deserve a future where they can fulfill the American Dream without consequence of their home life and can focus on learning.
I set set an outrageous goal because these kids deserve fresh food and vegetables rather than processed food and sugar. Thank you so much. You have no idea how much this will change lives, but I will witness it firsthand and share.
