Get to Know About the Cause
Greetings! We want to take this opportunity at SacredHand Canada to reach out to the community which is inclusive of Muslims, people of other faiths and walks of life, to share this very important cause and opportunity.
As many of you may know because you, yourself, are Muslim or acquainted with the faith, the month of Ramadan is around the corner. Ramadan is a month of selflessness, a month of doing good deeds in abundance and above all, a month in which one reaches a closer station with the Almighty. Given the current circumstances globally in regards to COVID-19, undoubtedly many of you are aware of the hardships that everyone is experiencing but some have been HIT A LITTLE HARDER.
Our annual Ramadan Food Drive at SHC provides assistance for:
- Families and youth living in shelters suffering from mental illnesses and brain injuries
- Refugees
- New Immigrants
- Families both Muslim and Non-Muslim looking for relief and support
This year we require a greater degree of support due to the lockdown across the country given the COVID-19 crisis.
At this time we are in NEED of your SUPPORT to fulfil our pledge at SHC in providing 1000 families in the GTA with food essentials.
SHC will be preparing COVID-19 Emergency Relief/ Ramadan Food Baskets.
