<div>Federico es un gatito de apenas un año, lleno de ternura y energía. Siempre ha sido un compañero amoroso, de esos que con una mirada o un ronroneo logran alegrarte hasta el día más difícil.

<div>Hace una semana, nuestra vida cambió de golpe. Federico sufrió una terrible caída desde el 5to piso, casi 50 metros de altura. Contra todo pronóstico, sobrevivió… pero llegó con heridas muy graves.

<div> El impacto le fragmentó el bazo en varias partes y los veterinarios tuvieron que retirarlo en una cirugía de emergencia para salvarle la vida.
</div>
<div> Su hígado también sufrió daños y fue tratado durante esa misma operación.
</div>
<div> Además, uno de sus pulmones colapsó y desarrolló un neumotórax, una condición en la que el aire queda atrapado en el pecho y no le permite respirar bien. Por eso, hoy sigue internado, conectado a equipos que lo mantienen estable.
</div>
<div> También tiene heridas en su mentón y su boquita, que reflejan la magnitud de la caída.

<div>Han sido días muy duros. Federico lleva ya una semana hospitalizado, luchando por su vida. Los médicos nos han dicho que su evolución es inestable, pero tiene buenas proyecciones si logramos continuar con su tratamiento. Es un guerrero y cada día demuestra sus ganas de vivir.

<div>Gracias a la rápida intervención de los veterinarios, hoy Fede sigue con nosotros, y estoy infinitamente agradecido por eso. Pero la realidad es que los costos de hospitalización, cirugías y cuidados intensivos son altísimos, y como familia no podemos afrontarlos solos.

<div>Federico todavía es un bebé, tiene toda una vida por delante… y por eso vale la pena intentarlo todo para darle la oportunidad de recuperarse. Él no es “solo una mascota”: es parte de mi familia.
