My cousin Melisa and her family mean so much to us. She is the only person I know to always make you feel loved at all cost. Her faith in Papa God is undeniable. My heart was heavy when learning about her daughter Francine’s cancer diagnosis. Many of you have watched their journey and your prayers have been evident in such a time of need and unknown.
Francine was diagnosed on July 28th 2020 with Synovial Cell Sarcoma Tumor on her left forearm. She has had 25 radiation treatments and chemotherapy which began in August. She has scheduled admittance for Chemo every month and this requires her to stay for three days. She takes immune therapy every night during her stay. She has a scheduled surgery date for November 17th and is currently going to see the Doctor two times a week for blood checks and blood transfusions as needed. She has until possibly February to continue treatment.
Melisa’s Husband Francisco had to take time off of work to attend to the needs of the home and responsibility of their 2 other children. Due to the severity of her cancer and treatment, Melisa had to resign from her place of employment. As many can imagine, an unexpected life threatening illness can be devastating. We are all in agreement Francine will beat cancer!! Together we can help ease the financial pressure that also comes with it.
Francine has shown herself so strong through it all but she still remains their baby girl. Melisa said it has been very painful to see her so sick and fighting. She has been admitted a total of ten times. The journey through healing and a miracle has just begun. Many have been so kind in asking how they could help and they would truly appreciate any gift amount that would be used to cover their basic needs and the continued drives to the hospital.
