Kevin and Lindy's Medical Fund

Many of us understand the hardships that come with supporting a family member with cancer.  Imagine the joy of surviving that journey with your spouse only to hear that you have breast cancer.  Our friends Kevin and Lindy are living this story.  Kevin is a survivor of colon cancer and now Lindy is working hard to survive her diagnosis of breast cancer. They both have shown us their strength, courage, optimism and perseverance through Kevin’s journey that he completed in July. 

Kevin and Lindy were looking forward to turning their full attention to their family owned and operated restaurant.  That has been put on hold.

One case of cancer can deplete a family financially, emotionally and physically. Two rounds is more than most can handle.  We have started this fund to support them with the costs that are not covered by their insurance.  Many are at a loss of what they can do to help. This is one way family, friends, colleagues and acquaintances can help support and restore their faith in life. 

They are both givers of the extreme and now karma is teaching us to be the givers and for them to receive graciously.   Once their expenses are met, they will be donating any money left in the fund to the Bennington Cancer Crusaders.
