PLEASE READ MY RECENT UPDATE!

First, I'd like to thank you for reading this. I don't know that I've ever felt or been in a more desperate and vaulnable place. Im not one to ask for any kind of help or handouts, but I have a HUGE heart and have always tried my best to be there for others and I'm hoping that I could not only receive some good karma back but that someone can receive some good karma for helping me and my family in this desperate time of need. As most of the country knows, the Florida Panhandle was hit with one of our country's most powerful hurricanes in it's history. My family and I live just 30 miles NE of Panama City Beach and were hit very hard. We realize how lucky we are to not only have our lives but our home, and are sadden to know that not everyone was as fortunate. Our thoughts and prayers are with them and we will do what we can to help our neighbors. We have minimal house and car damage. Thank God! We lost our green house, 1 shed and almost everything in it, roof damage to another shed, almost the entire pump house and hundreds of trees. We have a VERY big and long cleanup process ahead of us. We recently just added our latest family edition, Trevor Andrew, 3 months ago, he joins his big brother Tyler Mac (3yo). We are currently running on a generator.  This makes it very difficult for Daniel and I to try and tackle all this cleanup on our own. My father lives with us but is on disability due to a bad back and can do minimal work.  In addition to the clean up, supplies have been hard to aquire. My son has some special needs and ONLY drinks a certain kind of formula, he does not eat solid food. We have had to drive almost 2 states away to get as many cans that we could, which so far is only a week and a half supply. Thank you to our family for making that happen. We currently still have no cell service and I'm writting this from Alabama. Between the generator and these trips for supplies, we are burning through gas almost quicker then we can get it and with gas prices being the highest they've been in 4 years, this is not helping. Daniels work place took a HUGE hit and we are not sure when he'll be able to return to work. We have almost exhausted all our "emergency" funds. Of course we plan to file for FEMA aid and will file an insurance claim, but we will be doing that along with hundreds of thousands of people and just simply cannot wait on the process to get our lives back together and keep it going. Unfortunately in order to do this and restore some kind on normalcy for my children it will cost additional money that we simply don't have. We are currently being told we could be a month or longer without power. This entire experience will forever change our lives. We realize many people struggle to make ends meet and have tight budgets, but if you are able to help in anyway and can find it in your heart, even if it's just $1, every bit helps at this point and would be greatly appreciated. We are just trying to get through this next month one day at a time and would greatly appreciate some prayers for ALL those affected by this terrible castrophic event.
