Hello Friends,
My name is Martha and I'm a family photographer in Monmouth County, New Jersey. You have likely already heard about the inspiring work of Cara Soulia and The Front Steps Project. If this is new to you, Cara is a photographer in Massachusetts who is using her talent to raise money to provide relief during this pandemic. I'm inspired by her creativity and generosity. She has inspired photographers across the nation and graciously allowed for others to share her project and spread the impact.
The way it works is for the photographer to capture a quick session at your doorstep of your family. I will be a minimum of 10 feet away with my camera so that we are absolutely and strictly adhering to social distancing guidelines. In exchange for the session all money raised will be donated to support local businesses and charities that have been impacted by COVID 19. Donors may suggest their favorite business or charity or I will choose one. It was so hard to decide upon a single organization with so many impacted in our area. It is my hope that we can offer support to many. A suggested amount is $100 for a 5 to 10 minute session with 2 to 5 images. However, please donate what you can, whether more or less. If you are experiencing hardship please reach out to me privately. I'm very happy to photograph free of charge for those who cannot afford to donate right now so that we can brighten these difficult times with fun images of your family.
#TheFrontStepsProject bring us together virtually despite being - and maybe feeling - isolated. We aim to highlight the faces of our community during a time when we might not see them in passing at the grocery store, coffee shop, on the train or at the gym. We may be temporarily separated, but we are always united.
I hope to meet with you and your family soon, at a safe distance of course, and capture some fun, beautiful images to help support those who need our help during this crisis.
