2 yr old fighter vs liver cancer

On May 26, 2014 short away from his 2nd birthday,  A birthday celebration was planned for our sons Joey and Nathan but unfortunatley Nathan got sick and we rushed him to the Emergency room because he was vomiting , fever and a stomach ache. Tests were ran and he was diagnosed with a liver tumor called stage 3 hepatoblastoma. We are devastated , scared and could not believe that our baby had this horrible disease our life has forever changed, everything has been very hard through this tough process he been recieving treatment at Childrens Hospital of Los angeles, shortly after his diagnosis chemotherapy was started has had multiple blood transfusions. More tests were done and it was determined that the only way of saving his life was with a liver transplant, he was put on the transplant list for 3 long months, we finally got the call on Sep 13, 2014 that they had a liver available for him. We rushed to the hospital which is a 2 hour drive. He was immediately taken to the Operating room and we waited a long 7 hours for the doctors to complete the transplant. He has been having complications, has had 2 more surgeries to drain fluid. He is now on a feeding tube and has lost a lot of weight. Blood tests were done and they show some cancer cells. More chemo needs to be done but he is not stable. We recieved some donations and they were stolen on Monday Sep 29th, 2014 from the hospital while we were taking a nap in the Picu. Our 5 year old son Joey has been having a very hard time with this situation, we were not able to attend his 1st day of school because we were in the hospital with our son Nathan.
