We can spend our whole lives trying to figure out why bad things happen to good people, and we will never find that answer. I have a good friend in Jimmy Suits who is the perfect example of this scenario. Jimmy was the true definition of a standout athlete, especially when it came to baseball. At one point, Jimmy had the majority of the NCAA's top 25 schools contacting him and expressing their interest in him to  come and pitch for them. Not to mention the interest he was receiving from the Chicago White Sox and Baltimore Orioles. Without a doubt it was obvious to tell Jimmy was a God-gifted athlete. Being a left-handed pitcher with a 90+mph fastball Jimmy had more than an opportunity to be successful as a pitcher anywhere... Unfortunately, life had different plans for Jimmy.  One day in September 2010, Jimmy was attacked by an irreversible disease known as Transverse Myelitis. In a matter of four hours, Jimmy went from planning his weekend to being paralyzed from the neck down. Jimmy has been bed-ridden for over four years now. Other than televised sporting events and maybe a television show or two, Jimmy doesn't have a whole lot to look forward to anymore, and I want that to change... Though we may not be able to cure Jimmy's illness, there is no reason why we can't help Jimmy and give him something to look forward to. This is where YOU come in. The plan is simple: I (Jacob Buckman) will ride my bicycle 650+ miles  from Eldorado, Illinois to the Gulf Shores of Louisiana and need YOU to donate to this cause. Jimmy has been a lifelong Cubs fan and hasn't been able to experience Wrigley Field in person. The goal is to get Jimmy to Wrigley Field and give him the full experience, including a tour of the stadium and a game between the Chicago Cubs and their rival, the St. Louis Cardinals.  I like to think if he hadn't got sick, he would have visited Wrigley by now but he never got the chance.....
