Earthquake Relief Fund: Lulu & Alan

Mexico City and its outlying areas were struck by a devastating 7.1 magnitude earthquake Tuesday that killed more than 250 people and has left many more trapped under toppled buildings and debris. While we are thankful there was no loss of life from the FCB family, there has been considerable loss on many fronts, and our help can make a big difference right now.
Two individuals in particular from the FCB Mexico office have been severely impacted. Lulu Arenas has been with FCB Mexico many years and works in the general services group. She and her three children lost their home and all its contents in the quake. Alan Trejo is an account supervisor at FCB Mexico, and he and his wife also lost their home and everything in it. Both have shown incredible resilience through the aftermath, but are grappling with the devastation of their lives belongings.
To help restore some of what Lulu, Alan, and others from FCB Mexico staff have lost, FCB West along with FCB Global have set up this page to help fund $50,000 USD. We anticipate this to be enough to cover a year of home rental while they begin the arduous task of rebuilding, and will help others of our staff affected with much needed supplies. Anything beyond this goal will go to clothing, food and other basic necessities needed to recover from this tragedy. Outside of GoFundMe’s standard transaction fees, every penny will go directly to Lulu, Alan, and the FCB Mexico staff’s families. The FCB Global team has also committed to provide temporary housing for both for the next three months, and match all contributions up to $15,000 on the GoFundMe total donations.
