Mom's final expences

Hello Everyone,

My name is Nicole and this is the story of my Mom, Marie Rasmussen, and I currently. Please know I am not a person who does this, but in my current situation we are a bit desperate. I had to put Mom into an assisted living facility a little over 2 years ago now. As any of you who have done this know it is quite expensive.  All was well until late January when the company I worked for closed, life happens right? I went on unemployment, not the best pay, I am looking for a job and my husband and I are selling our house in Utah and have moved to Idaho trying to be better off, wishing the house would sell really. We have always had to pay a portion of Mom's care, she doesn't have very much income, so we got behind, and kept getting behind. Last week I went to see Mom, I met with the facility Manager and Dr to find out my Mom has what is called "vascular alzheimer's" and is in stage 6 of 7. She had anywhere from a couple of weeks to maybe 6 months left on this earth. So now we are looking at hospice also, which is covered but her facility will not let her stay there, they are not equipted for this. So I now have to move Mom, and pay a larger up front expense as well as pay back owed money to the current facility. This entire thing has been a horrible nightmare for all of us and now leaves me to asking help of others. If there is anything any of you can do we greatly appritiate it. Thank you all.
