Rylan's Rehab

Rylan is an 8yr old boy who has 2brother, and a sister. Rylan has a Intestinal condition that causes his bowel to twist. He has dealt with since birth, and is TPN dependent.
Recently Rylan on September 16th 2014 he was admitted to the hospital for vomiting. He became very ill dropping his Sodium having seizures sending him to the PICU. Doctor couldn’t get things under control, and didn’t know why this was happening. Rylan’s legs/feet began to swell. They became very painful.
After finally getting things under control, for unknown reasons Rylan has nerve damage to his legs/feet, and MRI showed fluid in the muscles in his back, and abdomen. Rylan cannot bare any weight, and now requires a wheelchair.
This little boy played baseball just days before on Sept 13th and walked in to the hospital on the 16th. After 16 days in the hospital on Oct 2 Rylan is being transferred to Madonna rehabilitation in Lincoln NE about an hour away from his home in Omaha.
Insurance coverage is becoming an issue on top of the expenses of his mother (Jennifer) staying by his side. We are raising funds for Rylan’s rehab, and food/gas expense for his mother to stay with him, and travel to see or bring the other children to visit Rylan.
He has a long road ahead, but has made AMAZING progress so far. His goal is to not attend school requiring a wheelchair as his primary means of getting around.
