Dear friends,

We received a big donation of very good quality football shoes and trikots by Lars Flauaus and Rajinder Mahey from Frankfurt, Germany. We want to send the donation as Christmas present to our Bookfeeding library manager and football coach Haggai Otieno Amonde and his football team in Mombasa, Kenya.

Haggai (32) grew up in an orphanage as his parents died when he was 11 years old. He started a football academy with the support of Kipepeo Foundation. His aim is to keep young people from the slums off the street and he now trains over 70 girls and boys. His team is the best in the area, even though most of the kids train barefoot.

To send the donated clothes and shoes to Mombasa, we need 200 €. Kipepeo Foundation already contributed 100 €. So we only need to fundraise the remaining 100 €.

We have a volunteer who is flying to Mombas before Christmas. If we manage to fundraise the money by Tuesday (18.12.18) she can take it with her and bring it to Haggai and his team as Christmas present!
