This is Haven. On 2/1, he was admitted at Children’s for a rectal prolapse caused by viral gastroenteritis and coronavirus. He has to wear an ostomy bag for an extended time and also has a PICC line near his heart that will be removed in 2 weeks. However, due to his illness, it has caused some financial difficulties. This family has fallen behind on rent and other bills/utilities, etc. Haden will be going home soon and this family may also be facing eviction. They have had to call off work to stay at the hospital at Hayden’s bedside. As they prepare to take him home from the hospital, he will need ongoing care. This family can use adequate resources to keep him comfortable as he has a long road to recover. Please, if anyone can help, it will be greatly appreciated.
