FAYE AND EVE'S FUNDRAISER FOR OPERATION WALLACEA

Donation protected
In June 2021, we will both be volunteering in South Africa as part of the Operation Wallacea conservation project. Our expedition will consist of one week  conducting terrestrial research, and a second week working in a marine environment, where we will both complete our open sea diving qualifications. We will carry out research in one of the most diverse endangered biodiversity hotspots in the world. This team is based in Dinokeng game reserve in the Highveld, this reserve is home to the big 5 and was formed through the inclusion of land from multiple small and large land owners in the area. We hope that our voluntary work will help towards conservation of the endangered species in this location by providing extra man power and resources to collect information. We are both incredibly passionate about conserving biodiversity.

We are aiming to raise £2000 in 6 months to cover the costs of this expedition by running half a marathon each on the 31st of January 2021.

As we are both geography students, this opportunity is very important to us and is something we are so excited about as we both have a love for the natural world. Any donations would be greatly appreciated and will be split evenly to cover both expeditions.

Thank you,
Eve and Faye x
