Ramona, who has always faded into the background, is finally pushed past her breaking point by her patronizing friends. She decides it’s finally time to handle things herself, even if it gets a little bit messy...
Creators:
Sophia Ashkenas is a Junior Cinema & Photography major with a minor in Environmental Studies. Sophia has worked almost every role on various student films since high school, she co-wrote this film and will be the Producer and Director of Photography for Favors From Friends, she is very excited to see this vision come to life.
Magen Evers is a Sophomore Television, Photography, and Digital Media major with a concentration in TV. She has minors in Legal Studies and Screenwriting. Magen has worked multiple student sets during her time at Ithaca College but has yet to host her own. She co-wrote this film and is the Director for Favors From Friends, she’s extremely thankful to be directing her first film with her closest friend beside her as her Director of Photography and Producer.

BUDGET:
Food ($200) - We are aiming to be in production for 3-4 days, with around 12-15 people on set each day. We want our cast and crew to be fueled and fed their whole time on set. (We want to be conscious of any dietary restrictions as well)
Festival Fees ($200) - Part of being aspiring filmmakers is getting your work out there. We will be using this money to submit to some local and national film festivals.
Locations ($50) - We intend to use our friend's home for part of our shoot, and we would like to compensate them for the support and kindness.
Costumes and Props ($200) - This is a slasher film, so things will be getting messy. This part of our budget is dedicated to special effects, clothes that can be dirtied, and props.
Emergency fund ($50) - Unexpected things happen all the time on set. We want to be prepared just in case anything goes wrong.
