<div>To honour Fauja Singh BEM, we at Sikhs In The City (SITC) Registered Charity No.1179621  have embarked on a project to build a multi-use eco-friendly Clubhouse in his name, which will be used by the local community to encourage health and well being. We are now seeking financial support from everyone around the globe.

<div>The Local Authority – London Borough of Redbridge has agreed a 50 year renewable lease for a parcel of land alongside the route Fauja Singh used to train on to achieve his remarkable running records that have inspired people from all backgrounds all over the world.

<div>When completed, the Clubhouse will comprise:

</div>
<div>·        Male/Female changing rooms with showers
</div>

<div>·        A medical/recovery room
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>·        An office/reception area &amp; roof garden
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>·        A Kitchenette/refreshment area
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>·        An open plan space for multi-use activities, such as Yoga/Pilates
</div>

</div>
<div>·        Storage and run training equipment. Treadmills/Gym equipment
</div>

</div>
<div>·        A Fauja Singh library and memorabilia room
</div>

</div>
<div>Current estimates to complete all works and make the building ready for use is £1 Million
</div>

<div>For comparison, the average price of a family home in the area is close to £700,000

<div>SITC wishes to complete this project by October 2021 if not sooner
