I'm Turning 20, Help me Celebrate!

A friend of mine once told me, "When we were younger, we used to be so selfless and generous despite our limited resources, and now it seems to have worn off somewhere along the way. So it's important to get back in the habit of giving."

For my 20th birthday, I don't want you to give to me, I want you to give to others; and more specifically, those in the Philippines who were struck with a typhoon that has left thousands dead, and millions misplaced.

I've always been taught to be grateful (Alhamdulillah), but there's something even more incredible than being grateful, and that's being helpful. In 19 years of living, I have seen happiness, sorrow, moments of excitement, and moments of self-doubt. And for my 20th birthday, I am certain that I want to help the people of Philippines. And I want YOU to help ME, help THEM.

$50 can buy water purification tablets for ten families for a month
$100 can feed a family for two weeks
$175 can provide emergency shelter and bedding for a family
