The Fat Lads on Bikes was the creation of Neal Bullock and born from the need to help out those that had offered help to his Auntie Linda in her hours of need. Her son, Glenn Auckland, soon jumped on board. Their tag-line ‘It’s all about Ward 14’ pretty much sums up their aim; to raise as much money for this relatively small section of James Cook Hospital, a small section that deals with one of life’s big issues; cancer.
The Fat Lads have now been joined by the Phat Lasses who have now become a major part of the charity, there main aim is not just to support the Fat Lads but to encourage Mums and Kids to get involved and raise money for local causes on Teesside and the surrounding area.
