Ike williams, a 35 yr old barber, was displaced from work on March 21st, and was unfortunately ill with the COVID-19 virus unbeknownst to him. He likely contracted the virus while working, and fought 4 long weeks to recover.
Thankful to God, after being on the ventilator for about 2 weeks. He was extubated on Easter, and became the first and currently ONLY survivor of COVID-19 critical condition at Amita Adventist Medical Center. He had the honor and blessing to return home to his family April 17th at 12:00pm. Ike is a father of 5 children, and has always been a hard working supporter and provider for his children.
Due to these unfortunate circumstances, we are first saying THANK YOU for all the prayers and support, and would like to ask if it is possible for those who CAN to provide a blessing in the midst of such a journey. We thank you and appreciate it ALL! God bless!!
