Our Mission: Farmer John's Plot is a non-profit working farm, dedicated to educating, empowering and employing the next generation of farmers, while providing sustainable food to our surrounding communities.
Recently our leased tractor broke a part that is no longer made! It will be extremely difficult finding a replacement part. We are seeking help to afford a down payment on a new tractor or buy a reliable used tractor.
Farmer John's Plot is in need of a reliable 4-wheel drive tractor that can help move our farm foward, help us make the next step.
We feed 120 families through our summer CSA, 60 through our spring CSA, and 75 in our fall CSA program. We operate year-round with 6 high tunnel (greenhouses) growing mostly greens through the winter months without the use of heat.
Our flagship education program is our Future Farmer Incubator program, where we train aspiring farmers what it takes to succeed in their own ventures. To learn more about this program please click here.
